For a store that runs its own deliveries, the order is where the work starts, not where it ends. Someone has to take what came in overnight, turn it into a route a driver can actually run, get it to the door, and then answer the question every customer eventually asks: where is my order?
Most of the time that means exporting orders, retyping addresses into a separate tool, and updating the store by hand once the delivery is done. The order lives in one place and the delivery lives in another, and the two never quite line up.
We connected them. My Optimized Route now integrates with Shopify, and it is live in the Shopify App Store.
How it works
Once your store is connected, orders flow into MOR on their own. No exporting, no retyping addresses, no copying details between tabs.
From there it is the MOR workflow you already know:
- Orders arrive automatically. Every order from your store lands in MOR's import queue, with Local Delivery orders ready to route.
- Build and assign the route. Optimize the stops and assign a driver in a few clicks.
- The driver runs it. One-tap directions to each stop and proof of delivery in the native iOS and Android apps.
- Status syncs back. When the driver is on the way and when the delivery is complete, the order in your Shopify admin is updated to match.
That last part is the one that changes the day-to-day. When a customer asks where their order is, the answer is on the order itself. Your team does not have to switch between apps to find it.
Your customers stay informed too
The same tracking and notifications MOR already provides carry through. Customers get a real-time tracking link and automatic updates when their order is on the way and when it has been delivered, without anyone picking up the phone.
What it costs
The integration is included on every plan, including Free. MOR's pricing is based on monthly delivery volume, with no per-driver, per-vehicle, or per-route fees. Whether you sign up through the Shopify App Store or connect from inside MOR, the same plans and the same prices apply.
Getting started
If you are already running MOR, connect your Shopify store from the integrations page in your account and your orders will start flowing in.
If you are new to MOR, you can install it directly from the Shopify App Store and be set up in a few minutes.
Either way, your orders go from your store to the doorstep without leaving a trail of spreadsheets behind. If you want to see how it fits your operation, get in touch and we will walk you through it.
